Floppy Disk Books

Dig up some old 5 1/4" floppy disks from your technology specialist..

Wrap a piece of black construction paper (10 1/2" by 5 1/4")  around about 16 sheets of white printer paper cut to 5 1/4" by 5 1/4".
Secure the signature/booklet with paper clips.
Mark holes to be drilled at 3/4".
Using a hammer and a nail, pierce holes.

Sew using Japanese stab binding.
Find some decorative paper.

Cut a piece of the decorative paper and place it on the inside of the floppy disk so that the design can be seen on the front (through the hole in the disk).

Using spray glue, attach the disks to the front and the back of the booklet.

My classes made about 100 of these and we gave them away at the Technology Fair last week...I should have made 500!
